Yah's great blessings are manifold,

To all His creatures here below,

But the quiver of life from the unborn child,

Is only for mothers to know.

There's many joys the families share

When the nurse brings the infant to show,

But the surge of pride she feels inside,

Is only for mothers to know.

Yah made provision for all Creation,

His love and His mercy did bestow,

But the union she feels with her nursing child,

Is only for mothers to know.

We know the children will leave us someday;

It's natural that children will go,

But the feeling of loss she feels in her heart,
