A Light For Our Path
 

However bleak the day may be,

Or how rough the path we trod,

We will not be forsaken,

If we’re in tune with God.

Yahweh will never leave us,

Or forsake us in our need.

His presence's there to comfort,

His Spirit’s there to lead.

He’s a lamp unto our feet,

If we stumble on the way.

The Shepherd will not forsake

His blind sheep when they stray.

Fear is a great and baneful foe,

It will drive away all hope,

And rob us of our vision

And faith, we need to cope.

If we depend on Christ our Lord,

And reject all fear and doubt,

He’ll help us live victoriously;

That’s what His love’s about
