A Perfect Dream

A song of praise each heart should sing

And all the bells should chime,

And every instrument should play

A melody sublime.

Every knee should bow to him

And every tongue confess,

And praise the name above all names,

His wonders to express.

In harmony we all would live,

And love our neighbors too,

If we summit unto his laws

In everything we do.

There would be no wars to kill our youth,

Nor vice to corrupt men.

There would be no hate nor violence,

Because there’d be no sin.

Oh what a perfect dream to dream,

That every knee shall bow,

And so they will, the Bible says,

Someday, if they don’t now.
