Eagle Saints

The Spirit calls the eagle Saints,

"Come; spread your wings and fly;

The heavens are open before you,

You are free to soar if you try.

Your wings have grown and are ready,

You are not confined to the nest.

The mountain's yours to inhabit,

If your vision compasses the crest.

Danger yet lurks in the valley

For birds that feed from the earth.

Earth's gravitation can't hold you,

The inheritance is yours by birth."

Mildred Eslick Garner

"But they that wait upon the Lord shall

renew their strength; they shall mount

upon wings as an eagle; they shall run

and not be weary; they shall walk, and

not faint," Isaiah 40: 31.
