First Seek His Kingdom

If you wish to reign with Christ,

Be honest and sincere.

If you seek His righteousness,

You need not ever fear.

Go and find a place of prayer

And seek his face each day.

Then speak and look and act like Him;

Don't mind what people say.

You must be brave when trouble comes,

And stand up for the right;

But keep your holy armor on,

To shield you when you fight.

And always use His principles

In all you say and do.

If you will follow in His steps,

He will lead you through.

If you want to be like Christ

And reign upon His throne,

Just take your cross and crown of thorns,

And bravely follow on.
