What a challenge we are facing,

To overcome both sin and death;

To do our part and trust his promise,

That He will faithfully do the rest.

Always yielding to His Spirit,

Ever trusting in His word;

Trusting in His power to save us,

Accepting Him as Sovereign Lord.

Building to our faith to trust Him

When the way we cannot see;

Facing death in all its horrors,

Yet trusting Him consistently.

Believing that our trials will help us;

Refuting forces which assail.

Knowing Satan cannot stop us,

Christ our Champion shall prevail.
