Nothing More for Sin I Owe
Nothing more for sin I owe;
Righteous now I stand.
Yasha paid the price in full,
And met the law’s demand.
Yasha paid the awful price;
I do not have to pay.
Nothing else will be required
Of me, on judgment day.
Since my debt was paid in full,
My soul is now made free.
He alone, atoned my sins,
And He has purchased me.
"What about your sins?" You ask;
"Won’t you have to pay?"
I have no sins; in Christ I’m free;
My sins were washed away.
"You’ll sin again," you will proclaim,
"Your flesh is weak and frail."
By his grace I live my life;
His blood doth yet avail.
He left no sin to tarnish;
He left no guilt to bear.
I surrender all to Him,
My soul is in his care.
By His grace I live and trust;
His blood will yet sustain.
I am a new creation now,
And over sin I reign
