Reality

Our subconscious mind takes dictation;

That’s for sure.

Every evil word and deed,

Is kept secure.

We may look upon our camouflage reflection

With much pride,

But from the ugly things inside,

We cannot hide.

People may impress us with the flattering

Things they say,

But flattery takes to wing,

And flies away

While reality secures her nest,

And comes to stay.
