To Be Son-Placed

I have a goal, for which I strive;

A dream that words cannot express.

A place that's only seen in Christ;

A higher realm for which I press.

To reach a glory that's beyond,

And experience in reality

The glory that is yet unseen

Where body, mind, and spirit's free.

The blessing of the firstborn Son,

Its weight and scope to know, and bear;

To yield myself, a son, as slave,

To have, and hold, that I may share.

The promise to, at last, embrace;

To sit with Him upon His throne.

Joint-heir with Christ, the reigning King,

To reach a height yet unknown.

To suffer, if the need should be;

To yield to Him myself, my all.

Give me the will, and fortitude

To hear and know, and heed His call.

Romans 8:16-18

"The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of Yahweh:

and if children, then heirs; heirs of Yahweh, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that

we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the

sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory

which shall be revealed in us."
