Where is The Man That Calmed the Sea?

Out of control my craft is drifting,

Caught in the grip of fierce gales.

My compass lost, the helm is broken;

The wind has ripped and torn my sail.

My ship is lost out on life’s waters,

I cannot see the light house glow.

I have no beacon light to guide me,

No one to show me where to go.

Where is that man that walked on water?

Where is the one that calmed the sea?

I need the man seen in the furnace,

The one that died on Calvary.

Please help me Lord, my ship is sinking;

Is there not something you can do?

The storms of life have dashed upon me;

I need your power to see me through.

The tidal waves reach out and seize me;

The shoreline in now out of sight.

I can’t survive without a Savior,

To steer my lost ship in the night.

I’m looking for that man called Yasha,

They say he’ll hear my sincere plea,

And come to me out in my darkness,

And save my ship and calm my sea.

I’ve met the one that walked on water;

He came to me out in the sea.

He had the power to calm the waters;

He saved my ship and set me free.

I love that man that walks on water,

And shed his blood on Calvary.

To save me from a life of darkness,

I’ll praise His name eternally.
