Who has the Answer?

Come now, and listen! Have you heard,

The truth that's hidden in the word?

It's hidden there for all to find,

But never with the carnal mind.

The objective mind will not receive;

No spiritual truth will he believe.

To hear, to touch, to see or feel,

To him, the natural things are real.

Yet Spiritual things are much more real

Than all these temporal things we feel.

For natural things will pass away,

And to the spiritual realm give sway.

The truth descended from above,

To teach us how to rule in love.

Yet men still say that it is right,

To strive, to lust, to hate and fight.

The earth doth groan beneath her slain,

And good men spill their blood in vain.

The battle cry does never cease,

And yet we've found no lasting peace.

In the living word there's life;

Ever flowing without strife.

If we would follow His command,

Peace would reign throughout the land.
