To earth Yah sent the Prince of peace,

That peace might reign upon the earth.

The babe was born in Bethlehem,

A virgin bride there gave him birth.

The angels in the chorus sang,

"Peace on earth, goodwill toward men."

His message was of love and peace,

And told us violence was a sin.

He gave no place for forceful striving,

But healed the sick, the halt, and maim.

He did not value earthly prestige,

And did not seek for earthly gain.

He built no temple, nor left a blueprint

For us to build one in his name.

He simply bid the men to follow,

Forsaking jobs and homes they came.

"Follow me," his voice still bids us,

And many heard the call and came

To put their faith and trust in Yasha,

Being baptized in his name.

But do we really hear his message?

So many Christians have been slain.

And the greater part of all those martyred,

Was killed by Christians, in His name.
