Four seasons makes a year,

Four, that is all;

Three months of spring,

Summer and of fall;

Three months of winter,

Twelve months in all.

Just four months have 30 days,

These are short, not small!

What are our shortest months?

They’re April and September,

Also June has 30 days,

The same as November.

February is the shortest month,

The day-givers were not kind.

Three times it has twenty-eight,

And the next year twenty-nine.
