Springtime in the Ozarks

When it’s springtime in the Ozarks,

And there are flowers on the trees;

You can smell a sweet aroma

In the gentle morning breeze.

The melody of songbirds

Sweetly echoes through the air.

You will hear the bees buzzing;

Life is present everywhere.

We forget the winter deadness,

As the good earth comes alive,

And the honeybees are swarming,

As they seek to find a hive.

And we note the generosity

Of our God who cares for them.

Do these majestic little creatures

Find a way to worship him?
