The Storm

This storm came in with fury,

Its fireworks, to display.

The air seems charged and ready,

To show the grand array.

The gales are strong and gusting;

They seem to groan with pain.

The way the water’s gushing,

The flood may come again.

The elements are roaring,

Like firing cannons sound;

The lightening bolts exploding,

As they contact the ground.

The wind is blowing whistles,

And singing its refrain;

Tree branches swaying vigorously,

And dancing in the rain.

I wonder where the birds are;

Let’s pray they’re free from harm.

I’m glad that Yah is mindful,

Of sparrows in the storm.
