Yahweh's Child
I am His child, and I am proud.
He stands upright, and so shall I.
I do not crawl as serpents do,
I will not steal, nor cheat, nor lie.
Let monkeys dance, and climb, and jump,
And swing from branches of a tree;
I'm not a monkey, nor a fish,
I am His child, He dwells in me.
He creates, He thinks, He loves,
And as His child, I do these things.
I do not bark, nor bray, nor growl,
I bear His image, and His name.
